The  fifth “Innovation in Insurance” conference, organized by Sollers Consulting and Guidewire Software, will take place on 21 November 2016. This year’s meeting will focus on new trends in the insurance market and the future changes that insurers are anticipating.

There will be an open discussion about the impact of Insurtech start – ups on the insurance market in Europe.

The participation of representatives from leading insurance companies at this international event provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge with guests from all over Europe.

Thomas has more than 20 years working experience in the insurance industry. He has market expertise across most lines of business and in-depth knowledge on underwriting and risk management processes. Thomas was appointed Chief Pricing Actuary General Insurance (GI) in October 2014. As Chief Pricing Actuary Thomas leads Zurich’s pricing community across GI. He further defines the pricing & analytics vision and implements the actuarial components of Zurich’s strategy. He serves as a member of Zurich’s Leadership Team. Before joining Zurich, Thomas was principal at Milliman, an actuarial consultant. He successfully build and managed Milliman’s Swiss non-life practice in Zurich. Prior to that, Thomas was Head of Reinsurance Analytics at Zurich’s reinsurance department and Head of Non-Traditional Pricing at Converium. During this period he served several years as an FSA approved board member of the Medical Defense Union SL. He started in insurance as a pricing actuary, then served in non-traditional underwriting and was a private equity investment manager at Partners Group. Thomas holds a PhD in Mathematics and a Master of Science from the University of Zürich. He is member of the Swiss Association of Actuaries.

Roger Hodgkiss has many years of experience in the financial services industry. He has an engineering degree with honors from Liverpool University. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified in the UK. In 1998-2007 he worked for GE Capital, where he held management positions in finance. In 2007-2008, he served as Chairman of the Board of AAS Balta – the largest insurer in Latvia. In 2008-2009, he held position of the commercial director of the Intouch Insurance Group, a holding company belonging to the group RSA. Since 2009, he has been in the Board of Link4 Insurance Company SA, since 2012 as a Chairman of the Board. He received the Title by “Gazeta Ubezpieczeniowa” – Insurance Man of the Year in 2014.

Witold Jaworski is a graduate of the Poznań University of Economics, Eurekans Management Development Program, IESE AMP and a doctor of economics. Between 2001-2010 he worked as senior lecturer at the Department of Insurance of the Poznań University of Economics. He began his professional career at Tillinghast Towers Perrin in Frankfurt and then joined McKinsey & Company. He was involved with the PZU Group for many years, i.a. as Managing Director for Insurance Products at PZU SA and Managing Director of the Mass Market Client Division. He also served as Management Board Member at PZU SA and PZU Życie responsible for network management, mass market client division, sales and product management as well as marketing. He acted as President of the Management Board at TUiR Allianz Polska and TU Allianz Życie Polska for 2 years, and then as Management Board Member at PZU S.A. and President of PZU Życie. At present, he is engaged in new technology initiatives at financial institutions.

Since 2015 she is managing the Operations and IT in the context of Touring Insurances’ re-platforming project and transformation journey.

Olga holds a Master’s degree in linguistics and international communication from Lomonosov Moscow State University. She successfully completed post graduate program in conference interpreting at Institut Libre Marie Haps in Brussels and holds a certificate in Business Analysis from the British Computer Society, the Chartered Institute for IT.
After building up analytical and project management experience at INC Research, Olga joined TATV in 2012 as Business Analyst. In 2014 she moved up to a Product Owner role and since October 1, 2015 she has been appointed as IT manager, leading the IT team and playing a key role in the Poseidon project.

Previous to Temenos, Keith acted as the managing Director for EMEA for the Financial Services Division of Misys PLC. Both Temenos and Misys are large enterprise software companies selling core systems to the financial services industry.

Michał Trochimczuk is the co-founder of Sollers Consulting where he supervises and develops the advisory team and is responsible for projects in DACH. He has considerable experience, gained while leading many advisory and implementation projects for financial institutions.

In the past Michał was leading projects such as implementation of central systems, the centralization of operational processes, design and implementation of applications that support the work of the back office and the front office and building operational strategy.

Michał graduated the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics of Warsaw Technical University. He was a member of the European Commission of AEGEE – Europe. He was the founder and the President of AEGEE in Warsaw.

Hans has more than 20 years working experience in the banking and insurance industry. He has a broad expertise going from P&C insurance, over business transformation & change management to communication & HR. Hans was appointed CEO of Touring Insurance in August 2011 where he led a profound IT and cultural business transformation. Touring Insurance is a market leader in direct insurer in Belgium. Before joining Touring Insurance, Hans participated in the definition and launch of the AXA Global P&C Business Line. Prior to that, Hans was HR & Communications Director of AXA Group Solutions in France and member of the Management Committee of Winterthur Insurance Belgium. The first years of his career Hans worked in financial services for BACOB, Artesia Banking Corporation and Dexia.
